About
The NYC Innovation Hot Spot provides business incubator services to qualified entities to facilitate company growth and encourage job creation. The Hot Spot, based in Harlem, coordinates a rich regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, partnering with 45 local incubators across all five boroughs of NYC. Operated in coordination with the leadership of the NY I-Corps Hub at the City University of New York, the Hot Spot provides these incubators and their members opportunities to participate in NSF I-Corps Lean LaunchPad entrepreneurship training and to access certain New York State tax benefits. The Hot Spot accepts referrals from these incubators for Innovation Hot Spot consideration, which may ultimately lead to STARTUP NY certification at a CUNY location.
